I am honored and humbled that so many of our corporate partners have been supporting us for over ten, fifteen and twenty years! One partner exemplifies this commitment, and they significantly expanded their partnership last year.
United Airlines has been a steadfast partner for over 15 years and last year they increased their grantmaking and in-kind donations, supported all three fundraising events, facilitated two annual volunteer events, have representation on the Board of Directors and the BEST Friends Board and sponsored a trip to LAX for 40 girls celebrating International Girls in Aviation Day. They also funded the club Up & Away where three sites (60 students) were introduced to aerospace careers, aerodynamics concepts and knowledge of elements that contribute to getting and keeping an airplane flying.
We are thankful to all our partners whose generosity verberates throughout LA’s BEST and helps make Los Angeles a more equitable and vibrant city.

The LA’s BEST Alumni: Leading LA network has been an incredibly exciting experience! We made some significant strides last year. We formed a leadership group that is helping lead the alumni campaign and blaze the trail for our fellow alumni to join us and get more involved.
It is important for us to form relationships with each other and create an environment and community where we can re-engage with the program and participate in LA’s BEST future success.
We are committed to helping the current generation of
LA’s BEST kids.
